Professional Awards

AFP-Nebraska is excited to honor the hard work of our peers in 2024!

Plans are underway for our annual chapter awards event. We're looking forward to recognizing some of our Chapter's most outstanding members, 
installing our 2025 Officers and Directors, and enjoying some camaraderie with each other.

Details on date, time and location for our annual chapter awards event will be coming soon, so stay tuned!

But first, we need some nominees - and that's where YOU come in!  We're looking to honor members for the following achievements:

FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. Must be an AFP member before the chapter awards event in January 23, 2025. 

EMERGING FUNDRAISERThis award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who works for a nonprofit, charitable organization and is new to the field. Nominees must have no more than 5 years of experience as a professional fundraiser, regardless of age. Must be an AFP member before the chapter awards event in January 23, 2025.

AFP-NEBRASKA FUNDRAISING "HALL OF FAME" - This award recognizes an outstanding individual fundraising professional who currently works for or is retired from a nonprofit, charitable organization. Nominees must have more than 15 years of experience as a professional fundraiser. They must be a past or present member of AFP for more than 5 years.
