How to Join

The Association of Fundraising Professionals is now offering new, improved membership options to better serve professional fundraisers, organizations, volunteers and affiliated companies. Please review the following categories to determine which option best suits you or your organization. All rates below include Nebraska Chapter dues. INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIPS

Professional – $300
Professional: Open to persons who hold some degree of responsibility directly for fundraising, work within the U.S. and Canada and are compensated for their services

Associate – $300
Associate: May be extended to persons who are engaged in fields related to fundraising, volunteers, or those who have mutual interests with fundraising professionals

Young Professional – $75
Young Professional: Open to persons who hold some degree of responsibility directly for fundraising, work within the U.S. and Canada and are compensated for their services, and are 30 years old or younger.

All individual Members must subscribe to the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards (“Code”) and its bylaws; promote the Donor Bill of Rights and, are employed or have been employed by an institution or organization that provides benefits to society.

ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERSHIPS

Small Nonprofit Organizational Membership – $150
Open to small nonprofits that meet the following criteria: 1) Operating budget of less than $1 million; 2) Fundraising department of fewer than 2 FTE; 3) Individually incorporated/organized as a separate entity; and 4) Unaffiliated with a larger institution supporting operations

Large Nonprofit Organizational Membership – starting at $2,000
Nonprofit Organizational – Large: Shall be open to nonprofit organizations who wish to have multiple members in the association (minimum of 8).

Business Membership – starting at $1,500
Business membership in the Association shall be open to for-profit organizations whose work complements the fundraising profession. Business members designate an employee(s) to receive full benefits as Associate members.

All AFP Organizational Members must subscribe to the AFP Code of Ethical Principles and Standards and promote the Donor Bill of Rights. Individual memberships stay with organization and are transferable to other employees.
