AFP Foundation News

The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy would like to congratulate our Chapter Leaders, Foundation Development Chairs, Administrators, and AFP members on a successful campaign year! The 2017 BE the CAUSE Campaign raised $370,451! While this amount is a little lower than the previous year, the good news is that the uncollected pledges for the BE the CAUSE Campaign are only 1%. The Foundation is sending one more reminder to those donors.  A special thank you to Catapult Fundraising Inc.! Their firm committed to calling 4,000 lapsed donors for the 2017 BE the CAUSE campaign. As of December 31st, they brought in $23,417 in gifts through 360 donors.  They are conducting additional calls to those lapsed donors they didn’t reach in January for the 2018 BE the CAUSE Campaign.

Coming soon…

Within the next few weeks, we will be sending your 2018 Chapter Leaders the 2017 Chapter Partnership Grant applications indicating the funds that your chapter is eligible to receive back based upon the total funds received during the 2017 BE the CAUSE Campaign. The AFP Foundation is very proud to partner with AFP chapters to support education, scholarships, leadership and diversity and inclusion efforts in your local communities through the BE the CAUSE campaign. Congratulations!

We will also be sending your Chapter Leaders 2018 BE the CAUSE Campaign goal setting forms. These goal setting forms will need to be signed and returned to our office by Friday, March 30, 2018
